Here you can see the different shots that happen throughout the whole opening sequence. For a clearer presentation we decided to set it out with screenshots fro the original clip. Here we can then see what each character is doing which then enables us to be as similar to the original as possible.

here is the timeline of the title sequence from reservoir dogs. Knowing this will then aid us when creating the film as we will know how long to film each frame. This will also help us in the editing stage because we will then know what names to put and the sequence of them all.

The film opening we are re-making

The film opening that we're doing is going to be "reservoir dogs" we chose this specific clip because we like the different types of shots that are used. We also thought that the titles that were used in this sequence were fairly basic compared to the other choices and we thought that we could pull it off to a professional standard.

Post on why we are doing a re-make of a film opening

The remake we have chosen to do is the opening scene from "reservoir dogs" in this shot the main characters walk along and each individual is introduced with their name in the title. they are then seen walking down heading to a road. With our circumstances as a group we decided that it would be a good idea to do this as we can make it straight forward and we know a specific location where to film it. We are doing this opening to practice for our final piece of coursework. in the creation of this remake we will learn the correct sequence of all the titles that appear and we will also see what shots to include into our final piece to create it to professional standards.
