The purpose of us doing a questionnaire is to make sure that we add in everything that we need to in order to make a good action film. It is important we take into consideration what the audience want from an action film and which generic conventions to add in.
You can see from looking at the questionnaire that they all had similar generic conventions. This tells us that we should use some of these in our piece because that is what the audience (our target market) like to see.
We asked five boys from our year group to fill out our questionnaire. We asked these particular people because they are in our target audience which is about 15-25 year old males. this is our target audience because stereotypically, action films tend to be watched by males and ranging from 15-25. This isn't to say other people would not enjoy our film but it is important we have a target audience in order for our film to be successful. Doing a questionnaire aided us with making our film opening because we could see if the audience liked the sound of it or if they think it didn't really make sense and we would have to make a new storyline etc. It also allowed us to see what our target audience wanted from our film an enabled us to decide what we could do to make it as good as possible.

Our film is of the action genre. It is about a mysterious hit-man
tries to quit his job however ends up as one of the targets of his own game.
Guns, violence and chases are sure to follow.
