location idea number 1
We believed that this location set up was good and the way the kitchen set out was great. We also liked the fact that it looked very homely which is the sort of feel that we wanted to create in our piece as our main character is a family guy. The negative to this location is that the hall way is too narrow and we were not able to fit the camera tripod there. We all thought that if we were worrying about the camera too much the quality of the footage may not be as good.
location idea number 2
Below is our location idea number two, the images below show the outside shot of the house which is the shot we will use for the CCTV footage. We all as a group liked this location as it was a lot more open planned around the house so we could move freely with the camera and know that the final piece won't be affected. The up to date modern style of the whole house shows that the mn is fairly wealthy from his job. This house Does not seem as homely as the location number 1 but we decided that we could just add other objects when thinking about mise en scene.
location idea number 3
Here is the location idea number three, we all liked this location at the start but then with further inspection we noticed that in the kitchen shot there is a lot of reflective surfaces. This means that we will have to constantly keep checking whether we are in the reflection of the fridge or the backboard when filming each shot. Another feature that we wanted to have in is the door shot, with the door shot we wanted to show that there was someone behind the door. With this type of door you cannot see anyone behind it so that was another negative about this location.
