Post on mise en scene consideration

For our mise-en-scene we need to make sure that our set is set up with props such as the brief case and just general items. It is important that we set the setting up so that it is believable to the audience that this man is a hit man and we are not just going down the park to film because this is not going to look very professional. It is also not going to look professional if the main protagonist is a hit man but he wears just a general T-shirt to work so we need to make sure that he is dressed up properly in order to make our media text look good.

By making sure our set is complete, we decided that we would arrive about an hour before we start filming in order to set everything p and make it as realistic as possible. This included simple things from closing curtains to give a low key effect or printing pieces of paper out with dodgy looking faces on to make this character more believable that he was actually a hit man and the audience could figure it out.
