Post on you hypothetically casting celebrities in your film opening – who would play what character and why? Who would you choose and why – think about look and style

Jason Smith

Jason Statham has done quite a lot in a short time. He has been a Diver on the British National Diving Team and finished 12th in the World Championships in 1992. He has also been a fashion model, black market salesman and finally of course, actor. He got the audition for his debut role as Bacon in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) through French Connection, for whom he was modelling. They became a major investor in the film and introduced Jason to Guy Ritchie, who invited him to audition for a part in the film by challenging him to impersonate an illegal street vendor and convince him to purchase fake jewellery.
We would want him to be in our film because he is a well known actor in other action films. if we could bring him into our action film, this would mean we would have a stronger cast and more people would want to watch our film because the audience would want to see a film because he is in it and will know it will be a good film.

Jason's wife

Gemma was born and raised in Gravesend, Kent, UK. Her parents divorced when she was age 5, and so Gemma lived with her younger sister and her mother. Her father is a welder and her mother a cleaner. They encouraged their children to explore their creative abilities.

Gemma Arterton has also casted in other action films before  meaning that she is going to be good for our film for the same reasons as Jason Statham.

Body guard 1

Dalip Singh was born on August 27, 1972 in Dhirana, Himachal Pradesh, India as Dalip Singh Rana. He is an actor, known for The Longest Yard (2005), WWE Smackdown! (1999) and Get Smart (2008).

We want to have him acting as one of the bodyguards due to the shear size and body type of him. In an action film, it is going to be stereotypical for a body guard to be big built and this will make it more realistic to our audience. We need to  make it as realist to our audience as possible in order for them to have a better experience.

Body guard 2

Paul also played college basketball at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1992 to 1993, and was a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Cougars basketball team.

We would want him to cast as our second body guard due to the same reason as Dalip Singh (body size) and he has also casted in a few action films. it is important that our characters would have at least some kind of experience in front of camera because otherwise they are not going to be any good even if their part is small.
